[JOBS] TEXTILE DESIGN INTERNSHIP : REJINA PYO

Rejina Pyo is looking for an intern to join the Textile Design department.

As an intern you will work closely with the Senior Textile Designer and the Ready-to-Wear Design team.

You will be assisting the team with the development and production of prints and fabric developments for the ready-to-wear collections.

You will be based at the Rejina Pyo headquarters in London.

Specific Tasks Include:

• Researching fabrication and print ideas

• Supporting the Senior Textile Designer for print designs and fabrication development

• Assisting to create artwork for print and other textile applications

• Working on colourway options, repeats, print placements and layouts for fabric developments using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator

• Organising and categorising fabrics

• Cataloging and filing fabrics and trims for upcoming seasons

• Work with the Design and Development team to meet deadlines

Desired Qualifications

• Currently studying a Textile/Print focused design degree

• Excellent Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator skills

• Understanding of fabrics and a strong eye for colour

• Proven ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines

• Highly creative and a strong eye for detail and colour

• Proactive, able to take initiative and work as part of a team

• Strong communication skills

This internship will start in July 2021 and last for a duration between 3-6 months depending on availability.
