Market Harborough, England – September 2026  – Joules, the British heritage lifestyle brand, has announced it is recruiting for a Womenswear Print Designer to join its Head Office team on a 12-month fixed term contract.

The role, based at "The Barn" in Market Harborough, reflects Joules' ongoing commitment to innovation and quality across its clothing collections, with an ideal start date of December 2026.

The successful candidate will play an integral part in shaping the brand's future print collections, working closely with the Senior Print Designer to develop, progress, and produce profitable and brand-right print ranges across departments.

From designing print boards and colour palettes to presenting seasonal trend proposals to senior leadership, the role sits at the heart of Joules' design process.

Responsibilities extend beyond creative design. The successful hire will partner with Buying, Design, and Merchandising teams to build balanced ranges tailored to Joules' "good, better, best" pricing tiers, while reviewing weekly trading performance to identify growth opportunities.

They will also take ownership of colour matching and factory-ready pitch sheet preparation, ensuring every print meets Joules' exacting quality standards.

Joules places significant value on strong supplier relationships and technical expertise in print production, encouraging the successful candidate to drive innovation and explore cost-effective, forward-thinking print finishes.

Trend research is another key pillar of the role, with the designer expected to organise inspiration trips and translate macro and micro trends into actionable design insights for the wider team.

Candidates are expected to hold a degree or HND in fashion or textiles, or equivalent experience, alongside strong Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills and a solid technical understanding of print production and screen separation.

A genuine passion for the Joules brand and its customer lifestyle is considered essential.
