Riva Home, a leading name in thoughtfully designed homewares, has announced an exciting opportunity for a visionary Homeware and Textile Designer to join its dynamic design studio in Leeds.

This twelve-month fixed-term contract, which offers the potential for permanent placement, seeks to attract a creative professional capable of driving forward-thinking, trend-led commercial print and homeware designs across multiple categories.

As the homeware industry rapidly evolves, Riva Home remains at the forefront of innovation and sustainable design.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing and developing original all-over prints, both hand-rendered and digital, for in-house brands, licenced products, and bespoke customer briefs.

This position demands a comprehensive understanding of print processes, techniques, and fabric bases, ensuring that all products meet the highest ethical and quality standards.

From bedding to lighting, the designer will take complete ownership of their artwork, from initial concept through to the preparation of technical CAD files and final sample approval.

The brand requires a professional with a minimum of two to three years of experience in a similar role, possessing strong commercial awareness of the UK homeware market.

A confident user of Adobe Creative Suite and AVA, the designer must excel in managing multiple timelines under pressure while seamlessly collaborating with the buying and merchandising teams.

Furthermore, the ability to adapt archive work, amend scales, and adjust repeating patterns is essential for maintaining the studio's agile, fast-paced environment.
