[JOBS] JUNIOR TEXTILE DESIGNER : FATFACE
Havant, England – September 2026 – FatFace, the lifestyle clothing brand renowned for crafting clothes for life's everyday adventures, has announced the opening of a new Junior Designer role within its Printed Textiles team.
The hire underscores the brand's continued investment in creative talent and its commitment to driving trend-led innovation across its product ranges.
Based at FatFace's Havant headquarters, the role will operate under a hybrid working model, with the successful candidate spending three days a week in the office collaborating with garment designers, buyers, and print specialists.
The position reflects FatFace's ongoing efforts to strengthen its design capability at a pivotal time for the brand, following its recognition as one of the Sunday Times' Top 10 Best Places to Work for 2026.
The Junior Designer will play a central role in shaping key prints across FatFace's seasonal ranges, using hand painting and drawing techniques to develop original artwork before progressing it through to production.
The role also involves close collaboration with international suppliers and print mills to ensure the highest standard of execution, as well as supporting the wider design team during trend research and presentations.
This latest hire forms part of FatFace's broader strategy to embed sustainability and ethical practice into its design and production processes, while continuing to champion equality and inclusion as standard practice rather than aspiration.
The brand has stated its commitment to fostering an environment free from prejudice and discrimination, ensuring its workplace culture reflects the diversity of its customers and communities.
Alongside creative development opportunities, FatFace offers a comprehensive benefits package to support colleague wellbeing and growth.
This includes access to THRIVE, the brand's learning management system, enhanced family-friendly policies, flexible working arrangements from day one, and a range of financial and health-related perks, from pension schemes to free period products and 24/7 employee assistance support.
The role is available on a permanent, full-time basis, offering a starting salary of £30,500, with applications currently open to candidates holding a degree or equivalent qualification in Textile Design, alongside prior experience at Assistant or Junior Designer level.
