The Role

We currently have an exciting Freelance opportunity for a skilled print Designer to join our exicitng Evans in-house Design team for 2 days a week.

Day To Day

Identifying trends and translating these quickly into strong commercial and customer appropriate prints that will excite our customer.
Working closely with the design and buying team you will build trend stories and drive newness.
Liaising with suppliers to ensure prints are correct for production and they have all the information they need to deliver beautiful product.
Identifying the key prints for the season and that the stories are customer appropriate.
Researching catwalk and high street trends, ensuring these are reflected in your print designs and the Evans product offering.
Responsible for creating inspiring commercial mood boards, re colouring cads, creating and amending print designs when required and putting prints into repeat.
Gathering and sharing internal and external information to drive the Evans product forward.
Developing a print product strategy in collaboration with the design and buying team.
Following product through from brief to press.
Interpreting print to suppliers ensuring accurate translation from print to product.

Must Haves

Print experience is essential.

Strong CAD skills particularly in Photoshop.
Great eye for trends.
Energetic, resilient and able to work at a fast pace in a demanding environment.
