[JOBS] TEXTILE PRINT DESIGNER : HOME BARGAINS BRADFORD

Description

This role works closely with the Buying Team producing on trend ranges, print and pattern and multi-product, working on existing and new development idea from concept to artwork.

Responsibilities:

• Identify key trends through competitive shops

• Work on textile clothing ranges

• Create designs, technical packs, mood boards and engaging packaging from up-to-date market trends

• Review pre-production submissions, ensuring the finished product is to a high standard • Communicate with manufacturers

• Ensure the smooth running of the approval process, continually identifying where process improvements can be made

Requirements:

• Excellent design CAD skills

• Excellent knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator on MAC OS

• Robust understanding of print and manufacturing processes and limitations

• Robust understanding of garment construction

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar design role or at a high street fashion retailer

• Computer proficient

• Experience of working on licensed ranges is advantageous

• Minimum 2:2 degree in design or equivalent
