[JOBS] TEXTILE DESIGNER : LIBERTY LONDON

Our Liberty London team are looking for an experienced Designer to join them.

As our Designer, you will work as part of the Design team to create stunning print collections in interesting colourways, relevant to our brand and product ranges from scarves to Liberty brand apparel.

Integral to this role is also ensuring the classic Liberty print collection keeps its heritage yet offers diversity and freshness.

In addition to designing, you will be responsible for carrying out CAD tasks and own responsibility for the re-colouring of our archive designs.

Key Accountabilities:

• Carry out research for any seasonal collections, following the brief from the Liberty London Design Director.

• Ensuring all tasks / responsibilities actioned to be in line with the critical path

• Creating artwork and colourways in Photoshop and illustrator

• Producing AVA colour ways and repeats

• To provide coherent and clear information about your prints to be sent to the factories via the Studio Manager

• Developing archive designs in repeat and appropriate colourways.

What we would love to see from you:

• A proficient knowledge of CAD packages and computer programs such as Photoshop, InDesign etc.

• Exceptional handwriting and hand drawing skills.

• Knowledge of AVA would be beneficial. ( training will be offered)

• Relevant experience within a fashion or interiors textile studio.

• Strong interest in art and culture.
