We are looking for a Fashion Design Tutor, (0.6) Grade 7, Fixed Term for nine months, to join our growing team.
As the successful candidate, you will contribute to the students' educational journey, bringing experience, skills and knowledge to inspire the next generation of fashion talent for an ever-changing industry.
The Role:
We seek a Fashion Design Tutor to contribute to teaching and student experience across a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
You will have knowledge and experience of contemporary fashion design practices from both academic and industry perspectives, and the ability to teach undergraduates and/or postgraduates in this area.
Expertise in fashion textiles (print, knit, embroidery) and pattern cutting would be desirable.

About You:
As the successful candidate, you will have:
• A higher degree/postgraduate qualification or equivalent in a relevant subject area or appropriate equivalent experience
• Knowledge and experience of contemporary fashion design practices from both academic and industry perspectives, with the ability to teach undergraduates and/or postgraduates in this area
• The ability to teach creative design and make is essential and, in addition, expertise in fashion textiles (print, knit, embroidery) and pattern cutting would be desirable.
A PGCE, Certificate of Education, PGCLTHE or membership of the Higher Education Academy as well as a doctoral level qualification would be desirable, but not essential.
