[JOBS] EMBROIDERY DESIGNER—SALONI

Job Description

• All aspects of design development for embroidery, from visual research, painting/drawing/designing, swatch development to garment placement, technical spec-ing and follow through with production.

• Creating embroidery technique suggestions and placement options to be presented to senior designers and creative director.

• Designing and making placement artworks for embroidered garments.

• Clear communication of creative and technical ideas to suppliers.

• Working with graded patterns to adapt sampling embroidery artworks for production. The Ideal Candidate

• BA / MA / or equivalent qualification in Fashion Textiles Design.

• Minimum 2 year relevant industry experience.

• Competent in hand drawing and painting.

• Highly organised, with a luxury handwriting in design and colour.

• In-depth technical understanding of embroidery techniques and embroidered garment construction.

• Advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and inDesign.
