Job Description:
KWC is seeking a passionate and creative individual to join our dynamic team as a Digital Print Designer, with a specialisation in designs targeting children aged 0-10 years.
This exciting role involves creating captivating digital designs that would eventually be used on fabric apparel that KWC already supply.
The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for design, a flair for creativity, and a deep understanding of the preferences and trends within the children's market.
The candidate would have experience in creating digital designs for both boys and girls but also understand the market demand for unisex designs.
The right candidate can design motifs and complex designs with depth and character along with slogans and sayings.
Responsibilities:
Develop digital designs tailored specifically for children's apparel, accessories, and related products.
Interpret and execute design briefs provided by the creative team, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and customer preferences.
Generate original design concepts and artwork, adding fresh and innovative content to our design catalogue.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product development, marketing, and sales to ensure design concepts meet commercial objectives and customer requirements.
Stay updated on industry trends, market demands, and competitor activities to drive continuous improvement and innovation in our design offerings.
Requirements:
No degree needed, however experience in graphic design is essential.
Proven experience in digital design, preferably within the apparel or textile industry. Candidate will be asked for a portfolio of work
Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) and other relevant design software.
A portfolio showcasing a diverse range of creative and original designs, with a focus on designs aimed towards young children 0-10 years.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate design concepts.
Passion for design innovation, with a keen interest in children's fashion trends, themes, and motifs.
