We are currently looking for a hardworking and experienced Assistant Print Designer to join our Homeware team. You will be part of a function that is responsible for delivering outstanding print design across The Home BU! We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about design and willing to push the print handwriting to the next level.
You will work as part of a hardworking and fast-paced team, delivering beautiful and modern print solutions across the BU. To design Prints for core and seasonal ranges across M&S Home

What Youll Do
Your key accountabilities will include
Shape the print and pattern influences under the direction of the Designer and Design lead to meet key brand handwriting strategy and price points.
Work with and support the Designer to co-ordinate day to day activities and produce a high standard of prints, graphics, and Artwork Packs on PLM.
Collaborate with the Buying/Technical team to agree the range/production techniques and create Artwork Packs for these designs via PLM.
Assist in creating Print Design boards /presentations and trends as part of the DPS to inspire and drive the brand handwriting and communicate key opportunities.
Respond to evolving trends e.g. catwalk, Instagram, editorial, to ensure the print offer & direction is on trend.
Who You Are
Your skills and experience will include
Expert in the field of print design with previous design experience within the homeware industry
Strong adaptable print handwriting and CAD skill with an eye for colour and detail
Experience in creating print ready artwork for production. Including Repeat and colour separation
High level of proficiency in print and graphic design using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and In Design
Multitask orientated with the ability to work to tight deadlines to the critical path
