The Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Design department for a Senior Print Designer to join the team. The role is responsible for the direction and creation of prints for the Miss Selfridge Brand and formulating the key print trends for each season.

The right candidate will have a strong background in Print and experience working within a fast paced, high street environment. You will be working to ensure we are first in identifying emerging trends and translating these into fashion stories our customers will love and believe in.

Day to Day:

• Developing the product strategy in conjunction with the Buyers and Merchandisers, which can then be translated into specific products for a range

• Translating trend interpretation into strong print designs

• Gathering & using relevant internal and external information to drive product and range development for the customer to drive individuality

• Responsible for CAD re-colourations.

• Gathering internal and external information to drive product development and ranges

• Constantly developing the range with Buying and our suppliers to ensure it evolves and continues to meet the needs of the customer

Must Haves:

• Relevant Design experience

• An understanding and passion for emerging trends

• Ability to strongly interpret trends into designs/ Appetite for design influences and strong eye

• Ability to work under own initiative

• Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate confidently at all levels

• Ability to work under pressure and with strong personalities

• Good teamwork and inter-personal skills
