Job Description

We are excited to be recruiting a Printed Textile Designer + Technician to become part of our hardworking in-house team. It is an exciting time to join the brand as we are currently expanding. Recent graduates are welcome to apply.

Richard Quinn houses Richard Quinn Print Studio, a printing service that prints and sources textiles for our international customer base.

This position looks to work on our customer-facing print service. The successful candidate will be introduced to all the in-house machines, design prints for our clients, and print and fuse roll-to-roll fabrics.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Print using our in-house machines (the successful candidate will be inducted into all machinery)
• Daily running of the Richard Quinn print studio service.
• Receive jobs and process them in a timely manner to a high standard.
• Working with external suppliers to develop swatches for seasonal collections for RQ collections and clients.
• Using Photoshop and Illustrator
• Maintain a high level of quality to ensure the product provided to the clients meets the required standards.

Requirements:

• Strong hand-drawing ability to communicate ideas and create artwork
• Proficient with Photoshop and Illustrator - these will be your main tools on a daily basis
• Very strong communication skills are essential both internally and to external suppliers
• Able to pick up digital software quickly - our machines run on specific software packages
• High level of motivation and organisation
• Hands-on approach
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate well within a team
• Elevated taste level and a strong eye for colour and concept
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects at once
• Detail orientated
• Good time management to ensure deadlines are met
• Strong eye for luxuary detail & materials
