Exciting opportunity for a Womenswear Print Designer with a solid background in fashion textiles to join a well-established, friendly 'IN HOUSE' print design team within a manufacturer of fashion fabrics.

This role is hands on so a background in fast fashion is essential, as is the ability to design – both digitally and by hand.

Printed Textile Designer - The Role:

• Creative, fashion and highly trend led print based role working closely with manufacturers, buyers and merchandisers.

• Design the most forward thinking and innovative new design concepts for fashion textiles to the UK high street.

• Research current and future trends, create mood boards and share ideas with the rest of the team to create exciting collections that showcase the new seasons print development

• Build upon good customer relationships by meeting customer needs and deadlines in a timely fashion whilst delivering on quality

• Strong commercial awareness and a comprehensive understanding of customer briefs to create tailored collections

Printed Textile Designer - The Person:

• Passionate about designing prints across a variety of fashion brands and age ranges.

• Proven experience of working within fast fashion for UK High Street and Volume retailers preferably 2-3 years.

• Excellent knowledge of print design including repeat patterns, preparing files for print and print aesthetics.

• You will have an adaptable handwriting that is resilient to change in response to emerging trends and client briefs.

• Have a strong sense of colour and colour combinations

• Strong CAD skills across Photoshop and/or illustrator

• Ability to manage assigned tasks, be a strong team player with a can-do attitude!

• You must be an excellent communicator (written/verbal)
