[JOBS] TEXTILE DESIGNER : NINA CAMPBELL LONDON

We are seeking a Textile Designer to join a friendly studio, based in Chelsea, London.

As a key member of the creative team, you will be required to produce designs for fabrics, wallpapers and home product.

Job level – Minimum 3 years experience, non managerial.

Nina Campbell is one of the world’s most respected & influential interior designers.

Her list of clients & expertise is unparalleled.

Alongside the interior design business, Nina had developed her brand, & produces successful fabric & wallpaper collections, internationally distributed by Osborne & Little.

Working with UK and International Suppliers, the Design Studio is passionate about producing great designs.

  • Joining us as a Designer, you will be responsible for creating designs for fabric, wallpaper & home product. Whether you are developing design concepts, producing layouts, colouring or liaising with suppliers it will be your input that ensures successful designs are put into production.

You will have 3-4 years’ experience in the same or similar role within a creative studio. environment.

You will need to be an adaptable, innovative, and creative designer who can demonstrate:

  • Excellent drawing and colouring skills.

  • Excellent creative design skills, with a talent for furnishing design & home product.

  • Experience and confidence in the creation of designs using CAD programs such as Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and AVA.

  • Fundamental understanding of design repeats and compositions for furnishing fabrics and wallpaper.

  • Self-management of the design process from concept to creation.

  • Strong understanding of the design / production process.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Ability to be a versatile team player.

  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent organisational skills with an ability to work on multiple projects to deadlines.

  • Willingness to learn new technologies.

  • Good awareness of trends in the interiors and fashion markets.

  • Good general computer skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word & Excel

  • Must be able to travel if required.

We are offering a permanent full-time position in our design studio, to commence as soon as possible.
