[JOBS] SENIOR WALLPAPER DESIGNER : RASCH WALLCOVERINGS

Rasch Wallcoverings, one of the largest manufacturers in the world, are looking for a highly motivated, creative and dynamic designer to join their UK operation in Stockport, Cheshire.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced designer with a real creative flair to work within Rasch’s creative UK studio, which creates wallcoverings for UK national accounts, independents and online retailers.

Key Responsibilities:

-        Designing collections from initial concept through to sampling and production

-        Develop and maintain good strong relationships with customers and suppliers.

-        Create product room sets both digitally and working with a photographic studio.

-        Overseas travel- to oversee production and attend trade shows.

Skills:

-        Be proficient in AVA, Photoshop and Illustrator with some separation.

-        Knowledge of Microsoft Excel

-        Proven design experience in the wallcovering/ textile market.

-        Ability to look for and identify new design and colour trends.

-        To understand and develop different manufacturing processes.

-        Excellent presentation skills and attention to detail.
