Position Overview

Responsible for designing all prints for the Polo Childrenswear division.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Re-color and re-design prints for initial design meetings

• Design original textile designs for print based on fabric documents and swatches

• Maintain strike off, cads, protos, inspiration, and keep fabric qualities organized

• Establish working relationships with RL team members (designers, fabric operations, production teams, merchandisers)

• Work Closely with the Design and Print teams to assist in print technique and fabric research and development. Gain knowledge of print design and fabric printing processes

• Participate in all design meetings and assist with presentations as needed

• Help to create presentation boards for all design meetings – this includes photo/header research when needed Experience,

Skills & Knowledge

• 3+ years experience in Print Design

• Highly proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator

• Demonstrate understanding of Print repeats and Print Cad work

• Able to work in multiple types of print design including florals, plaids and more conversational types of prints as well

• Understanding of the Ralph Lauren brand aesthetic

• Strong communication skills, be a team player, and be able to work with multiple teams
