[JOBS] PRINT DESIGNER - INTERIORS : LIBERTY LONDON

The Role:

To design and create product for the Liberty Fabrics Interiors collections including all selling tools and marketing support.

To manage and mentor the Junior Designers.

To support the Head of Design in presentations and training of the product.

To grow the product ranges to enable the sales of the collection and maintain the aesthetic of the Liberty brand.

To support with communications to the Design Director and Fabrics leadership team ensuring the collection is developed in accordance with the strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce designs to required aesthetic quality and to answer market needs.

• Conduct appropriate, relevant, and innovative research each season, to present to Head of Design, Design Director and sales team in order for direction and customer target focus to be agreed.

• To set and manage critical path working with production team in Italy.

• Create colourways for fabrics using the colour palettes created by the Head of Design.

• Communicate with suppliers to ensure designs are produced to expected quality and specifications.

• Work with production team, ensuring all information is collated accurately and fit for purpose.

• Administration management for marketing, internal communication, finance.

• Lead and mentor Interiors design team both in design and administration.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Deep and thorough experience and knowledge of print production is essential

• Developing fabrics that are relevant and within target prices.

• Interior Textile design

• Italian speaker would be an advantage
