[JOBS] JUNIOR TEXTILE PRINT DESIGNER : LIBERTY. LONDON

The Role

As a Junior Designer you will work as part of the Design Team to create stunning seasonal fashion print collections relevant to brand and market and update the classic collections.

The Junior role, reporting into the Head of Design, will be responsible for developing archive artworks into repeat, creating colourways for both seasonal and classic collections and supporting the administrative process.

There will also be the opportunity for creating original artworks to be included in the collections.

Key Responsibilities

Developing archive designs into repeat and colourways.

Creating artwork and colourways in Photoshop and illustrator

Producing AVA colour ways and repeats

Supporting the Head of Design and Senior Designers in the organisation and administration in all aspects of the collections

As the role develops to carry out research and origination for the seasonal collections following the brief from the Head of Design under the guidance of a Senior Designer

All tasks / responsibilities actioned to be in line with the critical path

Minimum Qualifications

Exceptional hand drawing skills in a multitude of different mediums.

Proficient knowledge of CAD packages and computer programs such as Photoshop.

Knowledge of AVA would be beneficial. (Training will be offered)

Relevant experience within a fashion or interiors textile studio.

Strong interest in art and culture.
