Job Description
Alexander McQueen is currently on the lookout for a Talented Graduate Trainee to join our Footwear Design team & support with the Menswear Collection.
As the Footwear Trainee you will support the Senior & Assistant Footwear Designer throughout the design process following the briefs provided.
How you will contribute?
Image research
Sketching and technical drawings
Making Swatches/ Mock-ups/ Trials
Photoshop renderings
Illustrator artworks
Embroidery placements
Photographing and organizing prototypes and samples
Maintaining and updating archives
Other administrative tasks required by the Shoe Designers
Who you are?
Technical Knowledge
Footwear Design experience.
Very good drawing skills
Strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, as well
as Microsoft Office
Excellent machine and hand sewing skills
Good understanding of the brands aesthetic.
