[JOBS] FREELANCE TEXTILE PRINT DESIGNER : WORME LONDON

We are looking for a talented, creative and experienced freelance textile designer specialising in print to join our team.

This role would suit someone who is looking to progress within an expanding, exciting and dynamic brand.

• Textile print designer must have very good knowledge of textile print design and patterns. • Very clear and strong understanding of the WORME aesthetic is essential.

-Passionate about fashion and trend-aware

-Excellent research skills

-Outstanding presentation skills

– Experience working with silk

-Ability to develop initial concepts into finished print designs

-A solid understanding of seasons, deadlines and working within a busy design studio.

-The successful candidate will have a good understanding of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign programs.

-Excellent knowledge of luxury and premium fabrics and mills.

Responsibilities:

1. Produce innovative all over repeat and placement prints that relate to the seasonal brief and WORME aesthetic.

2. Generate research and concepts, developing themes and design ideas, working out scale, colour, repeats and presenting ideas/ designs reporting to the Design Director.

3. Ability to develop initial concepts into finished designs/samples
