We are currently looking for an experienced creative Print and Graphic designer to join our kidswear team on a 6 Month FTC.
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring print and graphics across our daywear and nightwear departments.
We are looking for someone to help deliver the print design strategy, ideally with license character experience.
With a keen eye for identifying key print and graphic trends in the market, evolving these into commercial prints and graphics across multiple product types.
You will work as part of an enthusiastic and fast paced team, delivering contemporary on brand print and graphics across the BU.

Key Responsibilities & Measures
Deliver Print across the BU
Research print trends as appropriate
Collaborate with other print designers through Forums and best practice
Deliver key print looks across departments through the seasonal Design Briefs
Deliver prints through the product development process to deliver confident print statements
Deliver all print requirements to meet BU critical path dates
Deliver to consistently high standards of print concept to tech pack ready artwork to send to Sourcing Office via PLM
Respond to evolving trends e.g. catwalk to ensure the print offer looks modern and stylish for the customer
Close links with creative print studios and suppliers as appropriate to tap into latest trend looks
In depth and up to date knowledge of print techniques used within the industry to deliver the best product linking into the appropriate Fabric Development Technologist
Work hand in hand with Designers to ensure the prints meet the aesthetic requirements if the product considering scale, fabric substrate and price point
Develop prints into repeat and scale to be production ready
Utilise proficiency in Design IT applications to optimise the quality of design work e.g. Photoshop, illustrator, CAD, Kaledo etc
Collaborate with Print designers across Clothing and Home to make best use of resources including archive and bought studio print artwork
Key Skills
Expert in the field of print design with significant print design experience
Ability to identify key print looks/trends and translate into stylish, commercial prints across multiple products and substrates
High level of proficiency in Design IT applications to optimise the quality of design work e.g. Photoshop, illustrator, CAD
Multi task orientated with the ability to work to tight deadlines to the critical path
Strong Communication and Influencing skills
