Job Title: Textile Digital Print Room Operative
Responsible to: Operations manager

Voyage Maison is a leading UK brand of fabric, wallpaper and homeware based in Glasgow since 1998. We have 6 talented textile designers focusing on watercolour painting.
Our focus has always been on manufacturing on natural fibre in the UK and therefore most post print manufacture is also made in the UK .
We market our collections through Interior designers ,Gift and furnishing retailers and Online retailers in the UK .We also export our textiles and products to over 20 countries.
Since 2011 we have had our own inhouse production facility ,printing all of our own textiles on various Digital print machines and producing large volumes of textiles per week.
We are looking for a strong energetic individual to join the team in our Printroom
Key Responsibilities:
· Working within a team of 6 print operatives
· Require a technically competent person to run state of the art digital textile and wallpaper printing and finishing equipment
· Ensuring the Wide Format Digital textile printers, that we use are utilised to their full capacity
· Ensuring colour consistency and quality across products
· Prioritising workloads in order to achieve maximum output and meet customer deadlines
· Liaising with the purchasing/planning department on priorities for the print room
· Working alongside with the support engineers in England for the various machines to ensure efficient operation
· Ensure machine maintenance and cleaning schedules for both the machines and the print room are adhered to
· Cutting of wallpaper and textile products
· Liaising with the design studio regarding print work they require
· Operating within the current Health & Safety at work legislation
· Be a strong team player
Required skills and experience:
· Relevant employment within Digital or Litho printing areas
Experience with wide format digital printers or similar is an advantage
Training will be provided for our specific machines
Job is mostly on your feet -need to be active ,love being creative and happy to move heavy rolls of fabric and paper around regularly
IT literate

Salary £20-23000 subject to experience
