The Assistant Print Designer will be instrumental in supporting the design team to develop elevated, timeless, and commercially successful print and colour concepts.

This role requires a seamless blend of creativity and technical execution, ensuring the brand’s signature handwriting is maintained from initial concept through to final production.

The appointee will collaborate closely with the Print Designer to create original hand-rendered and digital print designs, ensuring alignment with seasonal direction.

Key responsibilities include researching print and colour trends, preparing precise repeat patterns for supplier handover, and managing the approval process to guarantee consistency across collections.

Seasalt is seeking candidates with a proactive growth mindset and a background in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or Surface Design. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and a proven ability to develop print designs into repeat are essential for this position.

The role involves close collaboration with mills, printers, and factories to review strike-offs and bulk approvals, ensuring the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship are met.

In line with the company’s “Seasalt Connected” approach, the position offers hybrid working arrangements based at the Cornwall head office, with a relocation allowance available to support successful applicants moving to the area.
