[JOBS] PRINT DESIGNER : MONSOON ACCESSORIZE
Accessorize is an exciting and ethical fashion brand. Our story began with one man and his vision that started on a hippy commune in Ibiza, 1970, and finished with an overland trip east, through Afghanistan and India.

We are looking for a Print Designer to cover maternity leave, working within our wider design team, focusing on developing our Accessorize print range from concept stage to production, working across multi product categories.
Our Design team are at the core of our business, creating the mood, colour palette, prints and key shapes of our collection each season that offer our Accessorize customer a point of difference.
Working closely with the buying team to develop new product ranges seasonally, our designers ensure the balance of commerciality and fashion is met – the team keep abreast of the key global trends and anticipate those which are relevant to our Accessorize customer.
You will be…
Researching and designing the print for multi product categories
Working into planning of macro trend for the new season
Reacting to sales information you will be responsible for designing commercially relevant fashion-forward prints, updating best sellers and ensuring newness at all times
Sending out print packs, colour standards and artworks to suppliers in line with the critical path
Proactive in identifying departmental print needs and helping to drive newness
You will have a strong ability to identify key print trends and print big deals for the season
You’ll draw influences from a wide range of sources – from Instagram micro trends through to seasonal global trends and catwalks
You should be organised and focused, adhering to the critical path to meet deadlines, ensuring product is developed within the relevant timeframe

Computer Skills: Photoshop, Illustrator , CAD
Previous experience in designing for an aspirational brand or a similar High Street Retailer
Previous experience working across print categories
Ability to work across a variety of mediums
Strong commercial handwriting and understanding of the Accessorize customer
Fashion forward-thinking and directional trend print eye
Brilliant time management and resilience
Ability to communicate confidently, effectively and appropriately with colleagues, suppliers, wider team & senior management
