About The Job

Grandeco UK studio is looking for a creative surface pattern Designer who relishes a challenge for a Designer/Stylist role.

This is a full time, in-house position (hybrid and freelance will not be considered) working in our creative studio in Stockport (near to motorway)

Responsibilities Include:

• Creating and colouring designs for wallpaper for the UK and European market

• Management of range presentations for a national account

• Trend forecasting and mood board creation

• Travel to our Belgium factory for colouring, production and meetings (4-6 times a year)

• Visiting Trade shows for inspiration and purchasing designs

• You will need to demonstrate the ability to work to design briefs, have strong commercial awareness, the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and strong organisational skills

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role

• Degree in Printed Textiles or similar

• Experience in Photoshop (essential) AVA, Illustrator and InDesign (desirable)
