In todays episode we interview Georgina Legge a BA Textiles graduate from Birmingham City University.
ABOUT GEE
Georgina Legge is a Printed Textile Designer based in the UK.
As a recent graduate from Birmingham City University studying Textile Design, Gee has mastered an array of skills and techniques along the way. Specialising in Print and Surface Pattern she has a keen eye for detail and illustration in her work engaging with all medias from oil pastel mono printing to water colour and guache when generating imagery.
Gee is fascinated by natural elements of her surroundings, be it wildlife or plants and foliage. She is passionate about expressing this beauty in her design and is dedicated to her work.
Traditional screen printing, digital printing and embroidery are the three main textile processes Gee uses to produce my work, printing being the main method and embroidery to add luxury detail to her designs. Her current area of speciality is creating designs and fabrics for the high-end luxury interior market
