As a consistently oversubscribed, expanding school we are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic and dedicated teacher of Design and Technology Textiles and Art Textiles to join our successful team.

The Design and Technology Department is a thriving department that offers a wide range of subjects in all Key Stages.

Student success and enthusiasm at KS3 has led to a consistently high uptake at KS4, where we offer AQA Art Textiles/ D&T GCSE Fabric and Fibres.

Mixed ability groups enjoy positive relationships to support their work and progress to achieve outstanding GCSE results.

The successful candidate should be enthusiastic, confident and have experience of teaching across the Key Stages.

They should be keen to develop existing modules of work to promote student participation, progress and attainment.

The successful candidate should be familiar with the GCSE specification.

Candidates should be able to teach general Design and Technology(KS3), the ability to teach in other areas of DT at GCSE would be an advantage.
