Mexar is a UK-based specialist developer of aqueous (water-based) inkjet inks for industrial digital printing applications.
Mexar have a collection of high quality inkjet products including pigmented and dye-sublimation inks for digital textile printing.
At Mexar we have used our years of inkjet development expertise to put together a portfolio of DTF inks to enable printers to purchase UK manufactured consumables at a reasonable cost with unrivalled reliability.
Our inks are manufactured on a regular basis to keep batches fresh, ensuring consumers have maximum shelf life on their inks. Mexar have addressed the issues consumers have faced with extended supply chains, lack of consistency and short shelf life from inferior products by creating our own manufactured DTF inks.
Mexar was set up in the United Kingdom in 2008 when the two founders, Dr Andy Hancock and Roger Tirrell, noticed a gap in the industrial inkjet market.
Aqueous, functional pigmented inks were not being exploited to their full potential in areas such as textile printing and décor.
Mexar was duly founded and the process of developing speciality aqueous inkjet inks was implemented.
