Pattern Room is an online pattern-making studio that lets fashion brands, garment technicians and custom sportswear manufacturers work directly with an experienced pattern maker, on their schedule, from anywhere in the world.
Founded by Australian pattern maker Julia Watts, Pattern Room takes the traditional face-to-face pattern briefing online. Clients answer the same fit questions they would in person (fit, hem, sleeve, neckline and more) visually, previewing each choice as a sketch before they commit. Patterns start from Julia’s trusted blocks, built with the balance and proportion that make garments fit and sell. They’re delivered graded as DXF files ready for most pattern-making systems, alongside a tech pack.
