Vinehall Displays Revolutionizes Silicone Edge Graphics Production With Strategic Investment In Zünd Technology

DUBLIN, Ireland – January 2026 – Vinehall Displays, a premier Dublin-based conference and event production company, has announced a significant upgrade to its manufacturing capabilities with the installation of a Zünd G3 3XL-2500 digital cutter.

This strategic investment, housed within the company’s newly expanded 30,000 sq ft production hub, marks a pivotal step in Vinehall’s commitment to increasing precision, operational efficiency, and environmental sustainability in the events sector.

Founded in 1986, Vinehall brings nearly four decades of experience to the Irish market.

The company is currently undergoing a major period of growth, having recently moved from a 20,000 sq ft facility to a larger premises to consolidate design, project management, fabrication, and print services under one roof.

The acquisition of the Zünd G3 is part of a wider programme of investment scheduled throughout 2025 and 2026, designed to ensure the company remains a true one-stop shop for complex exhibition projects.

Sustainability remains a core driver for the business's recent capital expenditure.

The Zünd cutting technology enables significant waste reduction through intelligent nesting and precise cutting.

It also facilitates the processing of eco-friendly, rigid substrates such as Re-board® and SWEDBOARD®, aligning with the industry's urgent shift towards greener solutions.

Gerard McElhinney, Managing Director at Vinehall, commented, "Reducing waste was a key driver for us and the Zünd has made a real difference to how efficiently we use materials, while maintaining the quality our clients expect."

The new system has revolutionized specific production workflows, particularly regarding silicone edge graphics.

Previously a labour-intensive manual task, cutting silicone is now automated for superior speed and consistency.

Additionally, the machine expands capabilities for roll-to-roll cutting and processing diverse materials like Foamex and Dibond, ensuring absolute precision for critical applications where even minor inaccuracies can impact installation.

"With nearly 40 years in the industry, we’ve learned the importance of investing in the right technology," added McElhinney. "We needed a solution that would deliver long-term reliability and performance. Zünd was the clear choice for where we want the business to go."
