The SureColor G9000 ─ Epson’s First High-Production Roll-To-Roll DTFilm Printer ─ Now Available Across Europe from Authorised Resellers

October 2026 – Epson has today featured the availability of the SureColor G9000, the first high-production, roll-to-roll Direct-To-Film (DTFilm) printer in its line-up.

Designed for commercial garment decorators and textile producers, the new printer addresses the industry's growing demand for greater speed, reliability and reduced hands-on maintenance, whatever the production environment.

The SureColor G9000 is built around a complete Epson ecosystem, combining Epson inks, printheads and software with Epson EdgePrint or Fiery Digital Factory RIPs.

Together, these elements deliver reliable colour control, efficient nesting and consistent DTFilm production at scale, giving operators the confidence to take on higher volumes without compromising on quality.

Chris Davies, head of product marketing (Commercial & Industrial and Business Solutions) at Epson Europe, says: “The SureColor SC-F300 is ideal for customers who are expanding into personalisation and short-run production. It’s built to make it easier for growing businesses to step up to A3 dye-sublimation with confidence – combining simple operation, flexible handling, and the dependable performance users expect from Epson.”

At the heart of the printer is a default 1200x600 dpi print mode, which produces sharp Direct-To-Film transfers at speed.

Additional modes, including White-only and CMYK-only options, allow producers to tailor output to a wide range of applications and substrates.

Reliability and uptime have been central to the SureColor G9000's design. An automatic cleaning system, featuring a fabric wiper, capping station and suction cap, significantly reduces the burden of daily maintenance.

This is reinforced by Nozzle Verification Technology (NVT), which continuously monitors nozzle performance and compensates automatically to maintain consistent print quality.

Should a printhead require attention, it can be replaced by the user, cutting down on service call-outs and keeping production moving even during the busiest periods.

Ease of operation has also been prioritised.

The printer features a 4.3-inch touchscreen with visual guides and internal lighting, simplifying day-to-day use for operators.

High-capacity 1.6-litre ink pouches further reduce the frequency of replacements, minimising disruption during long production runs.

A built-in front heater improves drying performance and enables printing onto a wider range of media, supporting stable output even at high speeds.

As the demand for faster, more sustainable and more reliable textile production continues to grow, Epson's investment in the DTFilm category reflects its broader commitment to supporting the industry's evolution with technology that reduces waste, increases efficiency and lowers the burden of manual intervention.

The SureColor G9000 is available now.
