The Meevo MX Event With SEAS From Soyang Hardware Maps Out Strategic Expansion for Super-Wide Digital

BACUP, Lancashire – January 2026 – Super-Wide Digital, a premier trade-only large- and superwide-format digital print supplier, has announced a significant expansion of its production capabilities following the installation of the Meevo MX Event with SEAS from Soyang Hardware.

This strategic investment underscores the company’s commitment to innovation and sets the stage for entry into new markets through advanced automation.

Based in Bacup, Lancashire, Super-Wide Digital is currently celebrating its 25th year of operation.

The company has long established a reputation for delivering a comprehensive range of print solutions, including banners, textiles, one-piece wallpapers, and rigid boards.

Maintaining a forward-thinking approach to industry trends, the business installed the new sewing machine at its specialist production facility in the summer of 2025 to ensure it continues to deliver high-quality service across all projects.

The Meevo MX Event with SEAS is a silicone edge automated sewing solution designed to join large-format panels with exceptional precision.

The impact on production has been immediate, offering high-quality results in large-format display textile applications and allowing for the creation of striking visual pieces.

Andy Huskinson, Digital Production Manager and Comms Development at Super-Wide Digital, emphasized how the device has streamlined operations.“Its high-speed motor and automatic thread cutter save time by streamlining the process,” said Huskinson. “This allows us to produce high-quality work quickly, meeting deadlines and enabling us to produce more output in a shorter timeframe. As one of the early users of silicon edge sewing, we’ve always been heavily involved in silicone edge graphics, but now we feel we can truly push our fabric department to new heights.”

Huskinson noted that the machine offers significant advantages over manual sewing methods, particularly regarding consistency and finish. “The high-precision stitching, particularly on large fabric panels, results in a more consistent and professional finish compared to manual sewing. The machine’s automation and efficiency significantly reduce the time taken to produce finished fabrics, enabling faster turnarounds and allowing us to handle larger workloads.”

Since its installation, the technology has been utilized to produce a variety of applications, including backlit, blackback, and frontlit display fabrics ranging from small lightbox panels to fabrics over five metres in size.

The company plans to build on this early success to explore new application types and expand its service offering.

“At Super-Wide Digital, we are always seeking to invest in new equipment, and we believe that the Meevo will provide us with the confidence to explore new areas, knowing we have a machine we can rely on,” Huskinson concluded.
