Epson Achieves Platinum Recognition in Responsible Business Practices
TOKYO, Japan, July 27, 2026 - Seiko Epson Corporation (TSE: 6724, "Epson") is proud to announce that its production facility, PT. Indonesia Epson Industry (IEI), has achieved Platinum recognition under the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) Validated Assessment Program (VAP), based on audits conducted by RBA-approved independent third-party firms.
This achievement underscores Epson's commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) within its global supply chain.
These audits, performed by independent RBA-certified, third-party organizations, assess compliance with the RBA Code of Conduct in critical areas such as labor practices, health and safety, environmental standards, and ethics.
Epson's commitment to responsible manufacturing is underscored by successful VAP assessments across a number of production sites in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, China, and the Philippines, achieving Platinum recognition.
IEI, established in 1994, is an overseas production facility of the Epson Group that manufactures printers. IEI successfully achieved Platinum recognition, which is granted to factories with a final VAP score of 200 and all Priority, Major and Minor findings closed.
