Byker, Newcastle, June 7, 2024 – Print North East, one of the North East’s fastest-growing printing companies, has announced a significant transition to Marabu inks for its solvent and UV digital printers.
This decisive move underscores the company's commitment to leveraging innovative solutions to maintain exceptional print quality while optimizing cost-efficiency.
Established in Byker, Newcastle, Print North East operates cutting-edge digital, large format, and litho printing machinery, producing top-tier print products at highly competitive prices. Originally trading as a B2 Litho printer, the company diversified into wide format printing in 2016, starting with a Mimaki JV33, followed by a JV150-160, and eventually investing in the Mimaki flatbed UV.
Today, Print North East boasts the capacity to handle an extensive range of print jobs—from small quantity business cards to high-volume door-to-door mailers running into the millions.
Their sign department excels in producing everything from vinyl stickers, posters, and banners to foamed or Di-bond sign panels. The large format segment is currently the fastest-growing area of their business.

Print North East has adopted Ultra Jet DLE-JX inks for their Mimaki JFX200-2513EX, providing an effective alternative to Mimaki LUS120 inks. For their Mimaki CJV150, they are using Mara Jet DI-FMS (GBL-free) inks, an innovative replacement for Mimaki SS21 inks.
These advanced ink solutions, supplied by First Fix Plastics Ltd., the area’s distributor, promise to uphold the high standards Print North East is reputed for.
