Retink Graphics Doubles Down On Latex Print Capacity With Second Epson Surecolor R5000L From digitalprint.ie

Balrothery, Ireland – October 2026  – Retink Graphics has added a second Epson SureColor R5000L latex printer to its Balrothery production floor, supplied by digitalprint.ie.

The investment follows strong returns from the company's first R5000L, which the team says paid for itself before they decided to expand.

The move reflects a broader industry shift towards resilient, scalable production setups that can absorb growing demand without compromising turnaround times.

For Retink Graphics, doubling up on the same machine was a deliberate strategy: by running two identical R5000L units side by side, the business gains the flexibility to keep work moving even when one printer is tied up with a long run.

Retink Graphics' print floor now includes two Epson SureColor R5000L latex printers, an Epson S9100 eco-solvent printer, a Summa F1612 flatbed with router and roll-up capability, and a Kala Mistral laminator.

All three printers in the line-up run through ONYX, giving the team a consistent, unified workflow across every job.

Because both R5000L units share identical inks, colour profiles and production settings, Retink Graphics can route jobs to whichever machine is free, removing the bottlenecks that come with relying on a single press.

This kind of built-in redundancy is increasingly important for print businesses under pressure to deliver faster without sacrificing quality or consistency.

The company has also added an Epson SD-10 spectrophotometer to its toolkit, strengthening its approach to colour accuracy and quality control.

The device allows the team to verify prints after lamination, compare a reprint against a customer's originally approved job months later, and maintain a documented record of approved colours for future reference.

In an industry where colour consistency can make or break client trust, this kind of precision is becoming a baseline expectation rather than a nice-to-have.

digitalprint.ie says the investment is a strong example of how the right equipment pairing, backed by proper installation, training and support, can give print businesses the confidence to scale sustainably.
