Celebrated British Silk Designer Emily Carter Named In Drapers ‘30 Under 30’ List Of Rising Stars In The Fashion Design Firmament
The UK Fashion & Textile Association is delighted that its member Emily Carter has been named as part of the Drapers 30 under 30 list of rising stars in fashion retail design.
Emily Carter is a great example of a creative entrepreneur that has established a luxury British brand with a distinctive handwriting.
She founded her eponymous brand of luxury silk accessories in 2015 and has attracted prestigious stockists including Liberty and Selfridges, as well as securing collaborations with labels including Aspinal of London.
Most recently, she has completed a commission for Angelina Jolie.
Emily took the opportunity during the pandemic to leave her job at Harrods to pursue her own brand and the business has gone from strength to strength as a result.
