Soyang Europe achieves Carbon Reduced Operation Certification for 2025

Altham Lancashire – November 2026 – Soyang Europe Ltd has been awarded Carbon Reduced Operation Certification by CarbonQuota for 2025, marking a significant milestone in the company's commitment to reducing its environmental impact.                                                 The certification follows a year of measurable progress, with carbon intensity per full-time employee falling by 9% compared with 2024.

The independent assessment confirms that Soyang Europe has reduced its carbon intensity from 10.61 to 9.64 tonnes of CO₂e per full-time employee, alongside a 3% year-on-year reduction in total market-based emissions. These figures reflect a sustained effort across the business to measure, understand, and actively reduce the environmental footprint of its operations.

As industries across Europe face growing pressure to demonstrate credible climate action, Soyang Europe's certification stands as evidence that tangible progress is achievable when sustainability is embedded into day-to-day operations, not treated as an afterthought.

Simon Mashiter said: "This certification recognises the work being done to measure, understand and reduce the environmental impact of our operations. It's something the whole team can be proud of."

The certification process, conducted independently by CarbonQuota, provides Soyang Europe with a verified benchmark against which future progress can be measured. The company has indicated that this milestone is part of an ongoing commitment, rather than a final destination, with further reductions targeted in the years ahead.

By putting numbers behind its sustainability claims, Soyang Europe aims to set a standard for transparency and accountability within its industry, reinforcing the view that credible environmental progress depends on consistent measurement and independent verification.

The business says it remains determined to keep pushing forward, with carbon reduction now firmly established as a core measure of operational performance alongside more traditional business metrics.
