Kongsberg Precision Cutting Systems Appoints Monotech Systems Limited As Authorised Distributor In India

Monotech Systems Limited, a globally-acclaimed Indian manufacturer and one-stop solution provider for the printing and packaging industry, has been chosen by Kongsberg Precision Cutting Systems (PCS) as its India distribution partner.                           The agreement, signed by Mr TP Jain, Managing Director of Monotech Systems Limited, and Mr Stuart Fox, CEO of Kongsberg PCS, was finalised during Printing United Expo 2026, held at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Under the terms of the partnership, Monotech Systems Limited is authorised to distribute the full range of Kongsberg X and C Series digital cutting systems across India, bringing precision cutting technology to the country's fast-evolving signage and display industry at a time when producers face mounting pressure to deliver faster, more sustainable, and more customised output.

The signage and display sector is grappling with real and pressing challenges: new materials, shorter production runs, tighter margins, and rising demand for sustainable practices. ‍ ‍Kongsberg’s X and C Series systems are engineered to meet these demands head-on, combining exceptional precision with high-speed performance and flexible tooling to help sign producers push creative boundaries while maintaining consistency and quality.

"It gives me great pleasure to announce that we have partnered with Kongsberg PCS to distribute the company's range of precision cutting systems that provide the performance needed with high speeds and precise tool movements," said Mr TP Jain, Managing Director, Monotech Systems Limited. "Robust engineering and flexible tooling options in Kongsberg digital cutting systems enable faster turnaround times while maintaining consistency in quality and precision in outputs. We look forward to helping our customers cut a wider range of materials while meeting the evolving production demands in the ever-growing signage market of India with the latest technologies and innovations."

The Kongsberg X system is engineered to handle cutting, creasing, and high-speed milling applications on a single platform, with automated tool calibration and fast tool changes that give producers the flexibility to manage diverse jobs without compromising on accuracy or speed.                                                                                                                  The Kongsberg C system, meanwhile, is built for versatility and high-volume reliability, running non-stop within a fully automated workflow. Its carbon-composite traverse and rack-and-pinion drive deliver fast, accurate cutting across conventional and unconventional materials alike, from soft signage to rigid boards.

As the industry shifts towards interactive and personalised digital signage, and as sustainability becomes a defining expectation rather than an afterthought, signage producers must adapt their workflows accordingly.                                                                     The introduction of Kongsberg's X and C Series systems through Monotech Systems Limited positions Indian producers to meet these challenges with greater efficiency, precision, and environmental responsibility.
