Soyang Doubles Down On Platinum Technologies LIYU Partnership With Strategic Investment In New Customer Facilities

Soyang Europe, a leading manufacturer and distributor of digitally printable wide-format and superwide-format media, surface coverings and advanced print production hardware solutions, has underlined its long-term commitment to its partnership with Platinum Technologies LIYU by making a major investment in new customer facilities and technical expertise.

Building on its recent appointment as GB distributor for the Platinum Technologies LIYU range, Soyang is now developing a dedicated showroom and expanding its engineering training programme to enhance customer support and drive the brand’s growth.

Technical Showcase

Demand for Platinum Technologies LIYU printers across Great Britain has continued to grow in recent years.

The new showroom will feature several of the manufacturer’s printers, creating a dedicated demonstration environment where the focus is firmly on the technology, its applications and the quality of the output it delivers.

Designed to mirror the minimalist look and feel of Platinum Technologies LIYU’s European Demo Centre in Düsseldorf, the facility has been created to allow visitors to experience focused demonstrations, explore a broad range of printed samples and see first-hand how the solutions can support a wide variety of applications.

Technology that will feature in the new showroom includes the new Platinum Technologies Signature Hybrid,S which can run at speeds of up to 350sq m/hr in high productivity mode.

Launched at the FESPA Global Print Expo in Barcelona, the device can print at a high resolution of 2400dpi in a wide range of colours including CMYK, light cyan, light magenta, white and various neon ink options.

Visitors will also be able to view the Platinum KCXL+ flatbed UV printing machine, which has a top speed of 400sq m/hr and maximum print resolution of 2400dpi.

Featuring a bed size of 3.05m x 2.05m, it can print on a wide range of media up to 100mm tall.

In addition, the showroom will house the Platinum PCT LED, a roll-to-roll machine that can print at 120sq m/hr on media as wide as 3.2m.

The device delivers vibrant, high-quality prints across a host of materials, making it the ideal choice for signage, textile, promotional graphics and interior décor applications.

Increasing Knowledge

Alongside the investment in the demonstration centre, Soyang has also focused heavily on advancing its technical capability.

Engineers recently attended in-depth training sessions in Germany, where they worked directly with LIYU specialists to deepen their understanding of the latest systems and technologies.

The enhanced technical expertise will further strengthen Soyang’s installation, servicing and after-sales support capabilities, while also enabling the team to deliver customer training, application advice and colour profiling services.

Combined with the knowledge of Soyang’s experienced wide-format specialists, this ensures customers have access to expert support throughout every stage of their investment.

Complete Solution

Mark Mashiter, CEO of Soyang Europe, said that the new showroom and enhanced technical capabilities underline the company’s commitment to delivering more than just hardware, providing customers with a complete solution encompassing demonstrations, application expertise, training and ongoing technical support.

“Our partnership with Platinum Technologies LIYU represents an exciting new chapter for Soyang, and this investment demonstrates our long-term commitment to its success,” Mark said.

“By investing in a dedicated demonstration facility and expanding our technical expertise, we’re ensuring customers have access to the highest levels of support, from their initial enquiry through to installation and ongoing service.  We believe this combination of innovative technology and exceptional customer care will help drive the continued growth of the Platinum Technologies LIYU brand across Great Britain.”
