Mutoh EMEA Launches New XPJ-1682SR DS Pro 64” Dye Sublimation Printer
Oostende, Belgium – July 22nd 2025 – Mutoh Europe nv, the EMEA subsidiary of Japan-based Mutoh Industries Co. Ltd., has unveiled the XPJ-1682SR DS Pro, a cutting-edge 64” (1625mm) dual-head dye sublimation printer, tailored for high-speed, precision-driven textile and soft signage production.
Manufactured in Japan and built on Mutoh’s trusted XpertJet platform, the XPJ-1682SR DS Pro combines industrial-level performance with unparalleled accuracy.
Featuring dual AccuFine HD 3200-nozzle print heads in a staggered configuration, the printer achieves remarkable drop placement precision with production speeds of up to 86 m²/h.
Engineered specifically for sublimation transfer workflows, the XPJ-1682SR DS Pro supports up to 8 colour channels, accommodating dual CMYK setups.
It integrates advanced automation tools such as DropMaster2, FeedMaster, Nozzle Area Select, and Media Tracker, ensuring consistent, uninterrupted performance across diverse paper types and roll lengths.
The use of Mutoh’s proprietary i-screen weaving algorithm ensures minimal banding, while the inclusion of multi-stage pressure rollers provides flexible media handling.
Additionally, the printer is compatible with motorised take-up systems (available in 40 kg and 100 kg options) to suit varying production needs.
Designed for Mutoh’s DS4 ProFlex inks, the XPJ-1682SR DS Pro is an ideal solution for colour-critical, repeatable productions such as sportswear, interior textiles, and promotional items.
The inks, available in 1L degassed pouches, align with the rigorous demands of industrial environments while maintaining high-quality outcomes.

The XPJ-1682SR DS Pro will be available during the summer of 2025 across the EMEA region through Mutoh’s certified distributor network.
Certification for DS4 ProFlex inks under ECO PASSPORT by OEKO-TEX® is currently in progress.
