Ultima Displays Maps Out European Growth with Triple HP Installation

Reading, UK - July 22, 2025 – Ultima Displays, a trade-only creative display solutions leader, has announced significant investments in cutting-edge HP printing technology across its European operations.

The company has installed new HP Latex and HP Stitch machines at its locations in the UK, Poland, and Italy, underscoring its commitment to innovation, capacity expansion, and sustainability.

The investments include an HP Latex R2000 and an HP Latex FS60W, as well as an HP Stitch S1000 dye-sublimation printer, aimed at enhancing production efficiency and supporting growing demand for high-quality, sustainable visual communication solutions.

According to Dave Bonehill, Director of Operations at Ultima Displays UK, the installation of the HP Latex R2000 at its Corby facility earlier this May has transformed operations. “This strategic investment doubles our rigid board printing capacity, drastically reducing lead times for sectors like retail and events, where speed is crucial. Additionally, the environmental benefits of water-based inks align perfectly with our long-term sustainability goals,” said Bonehill.

The HP Latex R2000, equipped with five-litre colour cartridges and three-litre white cartridges, offers unparalleled flexibility and efficiency by supporting board widths up to 2.5 metres.

Its environmental-friendly features, such as water-based inks and recyclable cardboard-based ink cartridges, further reinforce Ultima Displays' dedication to eco-conscious production.

Ultima Displays has also modernised its Polish facility, installing an HP Latex FS60W in June 2025.

With its ability to handle media widths up to 3.2 metres and deliver high-opacity white ink for enhanced print quality, the machine is already setting new benchmarks in production efficiency.

“The instant curing technology and odourless HP Latex inks are perfect for indoor applications while aligning with global sustainability standards,” said Piotr Brzoskowski, Director of Operations at Ultima Displays Poland.

Meanwhile, Ultima Displays Italy has bolstered its textile printing capabilities with the addition of a second HP Stitch S1000 printer.

Running at high production speeds of up to 220 square metres per hour, this machine will further support the unit's dye-sublimation operations as the company executes its ambitious growth strategies across Europe.

These investments highlight Ultima Displays’ forward-thinking approach to innovation and environmental stewardship while meeting the demands of high-volume, high-quality production. “With HP technology playing a pivotal role in our expansion strategy, we are confident in our ability to deliver exceptional results while adhering to our sustainability commitments. Future investments in HP solutions will further strengthen our global operations,” said Bonehill.
