Kissel And Woolf Feature The Kornit Avalanche Poly Pro At Printex In Sydney
Kissel & Woolf will be showcasing the impressive Kornit Avalanche PolyPro (with Adelco Dryer) at PrintEx 19 from August 13th to 16th in Sydney.
Building on the success of the Kornit range DTG printing equipment, it is the industry’s first digital, industrial process for high-quality printing on polyester.
Garment Printing Australia has bought the show machine from K & W and is going to install it after Printex.
Nayyar Samad, CEO, who co-owns the business with his wife Sadia, said that the company already ran DTG, screen printing, vinyl transfer, and laser transfer equipment – but needed a solution for polyester.
According to Samad, the Poly Pro excels in short-run printing, meaning customers don’t need to order garments in bulk.
The technological innovation is achieved by an innovative ink set and a physical and chemical process specifically developed for low temperature curing, and polyester enhancing functionalities developed to maintain fabric characteristics and provide superior fastness. This unique process prevents dye migration on polyester.
The Kornit Avalanche Poly Pro is based on the new groundbreaking Kornit NeoPoly technology and is paired with the NeoPigment™ Olympia ink, specifically formulated for printing on polyester and poly-blend substrates.
Together, they overcome polyester printing challenges while adding the many advantages of digital textile printing.
Designed to commercially print on a variety of polyester fabrics, including woven, knits, poly blends (Poly-lycra, Poly-cotton) and different fabric textures, the four colors CMYK + White + Poly Enhancer Avalanche Poly Pro boasts superior white base opacity for vivid, durable and lasting graphics with up to 1,200 dpi printing resolution.
With printing on polyester shirts estimated at 2 billion shirts a year, new opportunities to grow your business can be unlocked with the Avalanche Poly Pro, the fastest solutions for printing on polyester from design to print.
The inks are Oeko-Tex and Eco-Passport certified and do not contain PVCs or other toxic ingredients.
