Culture Meets Innovation : Curated by Nikita Karizma : London College of Fashion

As a British-Indian fashion designer who grew up in London, the theme of Culture and Innovation holds deep personal significance.

For me, it speaks to the intersection of cultural heritage and the ever-evolving landscape of innovation. Growing up between two cultures,

I’ve witnessed how identities are reshaped through technology, ideas, and cross-cultural exchanges. This theme reflects my own journey, where tradition and progress converge to create something uniquely modern.

In a world where cultural narratives are continuously evolving, the collection explores how innovation reshapes our understanding of tradition.

The selected works highlight how creators draw from their cultural roots, yet challenge established norms, blending the old with the new.

Each piece offers a fresh perspective, inviting us to rethink the relationship between past and future.

Through this curation, we can collectively shape a world that is diverse, inclusive, and forward-thinking.
