FESPA Convenes Global Print & Signage Leadership At Annual General Assembly In Cape Town

Cape Town, South Africa – September 2026  – FESPA has concluded a successful General Assembly in Cape Town, bringing together the Presidents of its 37 National Associations alongside the FESPA Ltd team for a week of strategic discussion and collaboration.

The annual gathering serves as a cornerstone event for the global print and signage community, offering leadership a dedicated forum to address the pressing challenges and emerging opportunities shaping the industry's future.

The General Assembly provided a valuable opportunity for delegates to step away from daily operations and engage directly with colleagues representing markets across the world. Over the course of the meeting, participants exchanged insights, compared regional experiences, and debated the trends set to influence the industry in the years ahead.

A defining feature of the Assembly is the diversity of perspective it brings together. While the markets represented by FESPA's National Associations vary considerably in maturity, scale, and structure, delegates identified substantial common ground, from navigating sustainability commitments to responding to shifting client demands and technological change.

This exchange reinforces FESPA's position as a connector of ideas across borders, ensuring that innovation and best practice are shared rather than siloed within individual regions.

The Cape Town meeting was marked by constructive dialogue and a strong collective focus on the road ahead for the global print community.

Delegates also had the opportunity to experience the renowned hospitality of their South African hosts, further strengthening the relationships that underpin FESPA's international network.

As the industry continues to navigate an evolving landscape shaped by sustainability pressures, technological advancement, and changing customer expectations, gatherings such as the General Assembly remain central to FESPA's mission: ensuring its National Associations, and the businesses they represent, are equipped to lead rather than follow.
