Caldera Announces PrimeCenter 4.4 Release with Enhanced Automation and Precision

Strasbourg, France – 06 November 2025 – Caldera is pleased to announce the release of PrimeCenter 4.4, the latest version of its prepress automation and workflow solution.

Now available for download on CalderaDock, this update is designed to help print service providers streamline job preparation and optimise production workflows.

PrimeCenter 4.4 introduces a series of enhancements focused on delivering greater flexibility, precision, and automation for print professionals.

PrimeCenter has become an efficient solution for those seeking to automate repetitive tasks and prepare jobs for production.

With version 4.4, Caldera continues to expand what is possible in prepress automation, making it easier than ever to manage complex jobs, save time, and deliver quality results with minimal manual intervention.

Key improvements include an optimised Double-Sided & Multi-Layer Tool, which streamlines the preparation of multi-layered jobs like backlit applications and decals, ensuring higher levels of precision while reducing setup time.

Seamless integration with CalderaRIP ensures a smooth workflow from design to print, providing the accuracy and consistency that demanding production environments require. This allows users to prepare complex jobs effortlessly and with confidence.

Furthermore, PrimeCenter 4.4 extends its cutting capabilities with the addition of the Summa GoSign driver, offering a faster, more reliable way to export cut files in SGP format. Users can now take full advantage of Summa PostNet optical codes for flawless cutting precision.

In a significant step towards greater operational flexibility, users can now add or remove contours from their dictionary, even while recipes are actively running.

Updates take effect instantly for manual recipes and automatically once active recipes restart, allowing continuous production without downtime.

This new level of flexibility enables operators to adapt quickly to last-minute changes or corrections, ensuring that production remains smooth and efficient.

"PrimeCenter 4.4 reflects our commitment to continuous innovation, providing our users with the tools they need to meet the evolving demands of the print industry," said Caldera . "These enhancements are designed to not only increase efficiency but also to empower print shops with the flexibility and precision required for high-quality, complex jobs."

PrimeCenter continues to evolve as part of Caldera’s comprehensive ecosystem of production tools, integrating with CalderaRIP and a wide range of machines to deliver an efficient workflow from file preparation to final output.
