PRINTING United is a brand-new trade show built on the strong foundation of the SGIA Expo.
This newly relaunched event will continue to provide access to the latest solutions for apparel, graphics/wide-format and functional printing applications, while also extending into the commercial, packaging, and in-plant printing segments.
PRINTING United is a strategic response to market forces that are necessitating out of the need for a single industry exhibition that provides “one-roof” access to all printing technologies, as well as a wealth of educational and networking opportunities.
The PRINTING United experience will include an expansive and comprehensive display of printing technologies and supplies, education, programming and services to take any business to the next level.
PRINTING United features 96 educational sessions over its three days, covering topics ranging from, ‘Sustainable Strategies’ through ‘Women in Print’ to ‘Convergence Power Rankings’, with a wide array of notable speakers who include Hitoshi Ujiie from Thos. Jefferson University, Ron Gilboa from Key Point Intelligence, Marco Ruecki from Zimmer Austria and Heather Roden from Zund America.
In an event devoted to Digitally Printed Textiles, SGIA will show how they have literally changed the "playing field" in numerous sectors, including graphics and sign, apparel decoration and industrial printing.
On this topic, Keypoint Intelligence/InfoTrends' Ron Gilboa and a cast of digital textile experts including the Texintel C.E.O. Debbie McKeegan will share how today's’ printing companies, fabric mills, ink manufacturers, and OEMs are working to maximize the possibilities of digital textile printing; how the segment is expected to expand; how a carefully-crafted digital textile workflow is essential to success today and expansion tomorrow, and why digital textile printing—though not new—still offers robust opportunity.
