Agfa’s Officially Opens Its New Inkjet Competence Centre In Rugby As It Hosts The Trade Over A Two Day Face To Face Event
With lock down on the way out, Agfa UK held one of the first UK face to face trade events this year, as it showed off its new Inkjet Competence Centre.
The new 3500 sq ft facility is located in Rugby, Warwickshire, allowing easy access for visitors across the UK and Europe, and will be dominated with showroom space displaying demonstration models from Agfa’s growing Inkjet businesses.
The showroom houses the latest wide-format inkjet printers and presses, as well as a bespoke demonstration and training area for Agfa’s award-winning Asanti and Apogee software suite.
The star of the show was undoubtedly the Jeti Tauro H3300 LED the heavy-duty, ruggedly built workhorse that easily handles extreme workloads, multiple-shift operation and 24/7 printing.
Suited for a variety of rigid and flexible substrates, this printers offers countless options to create eye-catching large-format prints.
With Bobby Grauf, Agfa’s Inkjet Sales Manager, on hand, visitors were shown the tremendous range of applications that the Jeti Tauro can serve, which included making the decorated bar tables for the barbecue that accompanied the presentations.
In the friendly atmosphere of an outdoor event on a sunny day, Agfa visitors were treated to relaxed and informative sessions that not only showed off Agfa technology and its new Inkjet Competence Centre, but also enabled the trade visitors to mingle and, for almost the first time since the pandemic began, enjoy the pleasure of face to face contact.
As Bobby Grauf said, “Some awesome #wideformat print flying through our presses and cutter during Agfa UK Summer BBQ 2021. Thanks again to all staff, partners, suppliers, press and customers for making it such a great event.”
