John Mark is a fourth-generation wallpaper manufacturer who has taken his wealth of knowledge and passion for producing fine wallpaper into the digital age.
John Mark recognised the benefits digital print could bring to the industry at a very early stage of the development of the technology.
Always the innovator, John Mark worked closely with Hewlett Packard to develop their largest presses to not only produce a wallpaper product but to surpass all expectations and create machines that have opened up a whole new creative capability that many designers are embracing.
Now their print room currently houses five of the most productive, super wide width HP digital presses available.
The print room runs 24hrs a day, each machine capable of printing four rolls of wallpaper at a time.
Printing machines are calibrated and profiled for every substrate and every job ensuring optimum print quality and accurate colours time after time.
Their extensive warehouse allows them to carry stock of most of their papers, so there is no delay waiting for a product to arrive into the factory.
Their trimming facilities are unique.
Designed by John Mark and manufactured to the highest specification, trimming is accurate, consistent and capable of running at high volume.
Samples, trials and pattern book slips are hand trimmed with care and attention by skilled operators.
Fade-resistant and wipeable these inks allow John Mark to print on a diverse range of papers, foils and paper-backed fabrics.
Most of their papers are non-woven base – paste the wall for ease of application.
They trim to 52cms and 70cms as standard.
Other sizes are available untrimmed, supplied with overlap for mitre cut on installation.
