Established in 1966 in Western Australia, Poolegrave Signs & Engraving was originally formed as an engraving business, and has since diversified, now specialising in all thing's signage, with a particular focus on statutory signage.
The Company’s engraving and signage departments work closely with each other and their clients to offer a complete signage solution – from design through to manufacture and installation.
Some of the products they produce include: braille signs, door signs, shop front signs and branding, wall and window graphics, stickers, labels, and more. All signage is manufactured in-house and the Company guarantees “Perth's fastest turn-around times for custom products.”
When Roland DG’s first resin printer, the TrueVIS AP-640, was released, Poolegrave Signs & Engraving became one of the first customers in Australia to own one, placing their order with Graphic Art Mart within days of its release.
With six Roland DG machines already, the decision was a no-brainer as owner Dane Rose explains: “For us, everything for our clients seems to be required urgently and therefore, it is vital that we have a machine that produces prints that can be laminated immediately after printing. Now that Roland DG has released a product that achieves this, the decision for us to purchase the AP-640 was simple.”
"So far so good... faster printing speed than our previous HP360, with superior print quality. Very impressed with the vibrant colours."
After just a short amount of time using the AP-640, Dane believes the results speak for themselves: “So far so good...faster printing speed than our previous HP360, with superior print quality. Very impressed with the vibrant colours.”
After such a long and fruitful relationship with Roland DG and local supplier, Graphic Art Mart, Dane has no hesitation in recommending Roland DG and its products: “we find them to be extremely reliable. Sales and technical support [teams] are great, as are the dedicated servicing technicians.”
About The Roland DG AP-640
Until now, resin printing was associated with flat, uninspiring color.
Enter the TrueVIS AP-640 that’s redefining resin printing with high color saturation on a wide range of materials from uncoated PVC to non-PVC media.
It features new TrueVIS resin ink and advanced machine features to optimize color reproduction on vinyl, paper, film, and specially formulated fabrics — expanding your graphics to include flags, roll-up screens, textiles, wallpapers, and so much more.
TrueVIS large format resin printers benefit from hundreds of dedicated, media-specific printing profiles that control optimal ink volume and drying temperature.
An optimizer prepares the media surface facilitating the formation of precise dots while variable dot control technology fires three types of ink droplets to create unparalleled image quality, producing natural beauty and vividness never before seen in a resin ink printer.
